APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1. No sanding or priming required.
2. Recommended coats: 2–3 on lighter base surfaces, 3–4 on dark/polished surfaces.
3. Use a regular all-purpose paint brush (special chalk paint brushes optional).
4. Dilution: 10–15% with water.
5. Touch dry: 1–3 hours (varies by climate). Apply the next coat once touch dry.
6. Curing time: 24 hours.
7. Apply the final coat in the opposite direction of the first coat for a smooth finish.
8. A roller can be used for larger projects.
9. Light sanding between coats is optional but helps achieve an extra-smooth finish.
10. Offers excellent washability once fully cured.
SEALING (REQUIRED STEP):
Overcoat with Bluebird Polyurethane Clear Coat (Matt/Gloss) — 48–72 hours after painting. This step is essential for a long-lasting, durable finish. Furniture can return to regular use 48 hours after Clear Coat application.
